Join Playmakers at the 2021 Autumn Classic! Now in its 29th year both virtual and in person! This event is a treasured fall Mid-Michigan tradition for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Enjoy the brilliant fall colors as you walk or run around Lake Lansing! There is something for everyone:
• 8K run/walk
• 2 mile walk/run
• Chip timing
• Long sleeve technical shirt
• Free Kid’s Fun Run (long-sleeve t-shirts can be ordered for $12)
• Children's Activities - organized fun activities for kids ages 12 and under
• Charity Partner: Special Olympics Michigan Area 8

Times: 8:35 a.m.— Free FREE KID’S RUN/WALK. 9:00 a.m. — 8K run/walk. 9:05 a.m.—1 mile walk.

Packet Pick-Up: Saturday (9/25) — 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Playmakers, or Sunday (9/26) — 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Lake Lansing Park North. (TBD)
Free Kids Dynamic Warm-Up and Run: 8:35 a.m. — 1/2 mile fun run (12and under). 50-yard dash (6 and under). Medals for all finishers. Kids t-shirts can be ordered for $10.
Free Kids Activities: 9:00 - 10:30 — Organized fun activities, (ages 12 and under). A parent or their guardian must be with the child/children; pre-registration helpful by Friday 9/22.
Divisions: 8K men’s and women’s: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54;55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+.
Special Awards: to overall, masters, grand masters, and the top 3 in each age division. The 8K walk, 1 mile run/walk are noncompetitive (no awards). Medals for all Special Olympian finishers.
Teams: Form a team of 5 or more to compete for 4 awards

Virtual Event Information:
The Virtual Autumn Classic continues this year. You select your own favorite road, trail and park to become the virtual 8K run/walk and 1 mile course! You can run individually or with your team, you select when and where.
This year’s virtual event allows you to run/walk at any time, from any location from 5pm Friday, September 24, until 11:59pm Sunday, September 26.
All virtual racers will receive a performance shirt and an official Autumn Classic bib which can be picked up in store at Playmakers, or shipped to you for $4.99.
Participants are encouraged to form Teams to complete the Virtual Autumn Classic together and celebrate as a group - there will be Team prizes!
Submit your time and pictures to be posted on the Autumn Classic results page, all participants will be entered into a drawing for awesome prizes.
