If you're interested in the 3K distance, you have two options:
- 3K Run: For participants looking to run and race as fast as they can!
- Bobby Crim 3K Walk: For participants who intend to walk the entire distance (no running), and all of our Special Olympians!

The easiest way to redeem your packet is by showing us your confirmation email with your unique QR code for the race. If you don't have that, just be ready to provide your name to one of our volunteers!
Yes, someone else can absolutely pick up your packet! They just need to be ready to show your registration QR code or provide your name.
With the layout of our race courses, we need all participants to arrive NO LATER THAN 8:20am! At that time, the one road that leads into the park will close to vehicle traffic for participants.
Parking is located inside Lake Lansing Park North (6260 E Lake Dr, Haslett, MI 48840). We will have volunteers guide you into a parking spot on the grass field or dirt roads within the park, from there it's a short walk to our start & finish area.
Yes, parking is included in your registration! However, if you have an Ingham County Parks Pass, please have it displayed on your car's windshield or dashboard.

This race features a common start and finish line, which is located within the park near the Sandhill Shelter and playground. Please reference the Courses page of the race website, and visit the Ingham County Parks website for the Lake Lansing North Facilities Map.
Yes, participants are absolutely allowed to race with strollers! We just ask that you line up towards the back of the start line to allow plenty of room for other participants.
Yes, dogs are allowed inside Lake Lansing Park North and on the course. Per Ingham County Parks' policy, all dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. If you plan to participate with your furry friend, we require you to start at the back of the field to allow room for our human participants.
Yes, there will be three water stations on the 8K course (~1.5 mile, ~3.25 mile, and ~4.25 mile) and one on the 3K course (at the halfway point).
There will be porta-potties available in the start/finish area. There will not be any porta-potties on the course.
Immediately after you finish you'll receive your finisher medal and have the opportunity to grab a water.
After catching your breath, please continue through our finish area to grab our complimentary finisher goodies, which include:
- Apple cider from QD
- Bananas from Meijer
- Soup from UM-Health Sparrow
- Breads & rolls from Great Harvest Bread Co.
Yes, awards will be given to our overall and age group winners in the 8K event in the following categories:
Overall Winners: Custom carved wooden trophy & $50 Playmakers gift card!
- 1st Place Overall Male & Female
- 1st Place Masters Male & Female (40+)
- 1st Place Grand Masters Male & Female (50+)
- 1st Place Non-binary
Age Group Winners: TBD
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Male & Female in the following age groups: 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+
Results will be live, so after you finish scan the QR code on your race bib or go to the race website to see how you did! Awards will be available starting at 10:30am.
There are no awards for the 3K Run, Bobby Crim 3K Walk, and Kids Races.
Yes, the race will go on in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather, updates will be posted on our Playmakers social media pages as well as race emails and text message alerts.
